How to travel with your dog

If you are planning a trip and taking your dog with you, you should be to make all the necessary arrangements. These arrangements will mean the difference between a fun successful vacation and a ruined unhappy trip.

There are a few tips on how to happily travel with your dog:

-          Have your dog wearing a collar with his name and your contact details on it at all times.

-          A microchip implanted on your dog may also be a good security measure.

-          Your dog should have basic training to behave well.

-          For flights, make sure that your dog is placed in the right size dog cages to ensure he or she is comfortable.

-          Take your dog for short frequent car rides to get him or her used to the car before your trip.

-          Always plan ahead for your trip, rest stops, food, water, nearest veterinary hospital at all times.
