What do you think of Freaked Out Fred?

Freaked Out Fred’s probation period is almost up here at DealsDirect.com.au and we’re holding his performance appraisal this week!

We’re pretty sure Fred will stick around for a while but we don’t want him getting too comfortable around here!

Help us by letting us know what you’ve loved about our Freaky Friday Promotions so far and what you’d like to see next.

We want to hear your feedback so we can pass it on to Fred.

i love fred, but instead of being in a newsletter item, perhaps, he could be somewhere site wide, and you give us three clues to find him (like you did on friday 13th for $500 voucher) but obviously for $5 vouchers that treasure hunt type thing was a lot of fun trying to work out the clues

I love Freaked Out Fred, you could almost say I’m a stalker.
It is an addiction, I am not satisfied until I have him.

I think Freaked Out Fred is great, but I would like to see the competition to find him not to start until around 7am. Having a toddler and a baby on the way I’m not too keen to stay up until midnight just so I have a chance of winning. But I do like it only been in the newsletter not the entire site, my toddler doesn’t give me much time to find him lol. Think what your doing is great!

It’s been heaps of fun finding Fred but I’m not sure if it’s fair – we “east coasters” seem to get a head start on people out west? Time zones make things a bit difficult. Plus not everyone lives on their computers, we’re all busy, so trying to be first to find something is frustrating… I liked the Facebook caption and photo competitions, they are more like “games of skill” and there was more time to enter… a bit fairer for everybody maybe?

I just thought of something else, the “find Fred” competition is only supposed to be entered once per person, but once he’s been found it’s easy to enter under other email addresses… family member’s or whatever… so people that get in early and enter several times end up with all the prize vouchers!

heya, my suggestion is hide Fred the way u did the sunnies at a random time for just an hour.
I also want to comment that I hav a 5mth old but I find myself on at 11.30pm our time looking for Fred.

HIYA FRED, I just want to say, I’m so happy you liked the caption I put in for your picture, & thanks heaps for the $50 voucher, that really made my day!! Mellow out dude, no need to be so freaked out!!!

Some might say the West Coast has an advantage rather than a disadvantage. It’s only 10pm when the newsletter arrives in their email. It’s a lot easier to stay up until 10pm than midnight.

I love Fred, I look forward to each Friday to find him. I like to find his sunnies as well. I think that how you have done a great job with him and the throwing in the other promotions with him every now and then is great.
